Only 3 months until Battle of the Five Armies!!!
I am severely disappointed by the lack of Bard vids, come on people! I know I’ve said this before, but I’ll say it again. Bard is my favorite from the Hobbit movies. His goals and motivations are the purest out of all the characters, and despite how poorly he’s treated, he does what is right.
I also love the parallels they’re playing up with him and Aragorn. I know that Bard was Tolkien’s original inspiration for Aragorn, but it’s fun to see.
I thought this would be a fun movie/song mashup since Bard is rather like Middle Earth’s dragonborn. Er, sorta, not really. But he does (spoiler, not sure if it matters, but I don’t want anyone yelling at me) kill a dragon when no one else could or would even try. I do plan on re-doing this with BotfA footage and with more of the song because it’s simply beautiful.
Gotta play Skyrim again, been to long.
