Flying Cloud Academy of Vintage Dance in Cincinnati celebrated 40 years with a dance week, and they pulled out all the stops! My Cincinnati group, The New Liberty Dance Orchestra, was hired to perform for the ragtime dance at The Phoenix, and what a night!
Here is Song d'Automne, or Dream of Autumn, composed by Archibald Joyce, known by some as the Waltz King of England. This haunting melody achieved eternal fame as being the last song played on the Titanic - so said many of the survivors. A beautiful tune as it stands, but with its history it makes it even more haunting.
