Editing footage of Final Fantasy 10 to create a black background video with all remaining details becoming solid blocks of colour.
This isn't the best use of video effects or visual filters, but I've made about 40 of these. They get weird and weirder. Abstract art and stuff.

I used Unity to create a very, very simple scene involving a cube that rotates (because camera controls) and a particle emitter that collided slightly weirdly (the hit box / collision mesh was inside the model texture)... Also, directional lighting is a thing! Im preparing for a more segmented approach to my videos, so watch out for more complex things with multiple angles to them.
Video edits include: [Windows Movie Maker] ripple/waverotate, threshold (visual filter), hue cycle; [Virtual Dub] motion blurring, soft focus and the start is way too pixellated square~y than I wanted.
