The System Restore feature is a very useful feature in the Windows operating system which help to revert back your system to previous working state where windows working smoothly.
But sometimes While perform system restore it will fail with showing error like :
"System Restore did not completed successfully. Your computer’s system files and settings were not changed"
An unspecified error occurred during System Restore. (0x80070005)

or the error will little bit different like
" A shadow copy could not be created for the following reason. The writer experienced a transient error (0x800423F3) "
" Restore point could not be created for this reason: Error detected in the Volume Shadow Copy Services (VSS)."

This problem occurs because certain files are not replaced correctly if a file conflict occurs during the restore process.

Reason Behind The Error :
1. Antivirus software is interfering with System Restore
2. corrupt or missing system file

To Fix This Problem here fallow bellow.
Restart the Volume Shadow Copy service from windows services. Repair Corrupted system files using sfc utility. Disable / Temporarily uninstall Antivirus software. check hard disk for errors if nothing works then, Try windows boot into safe mode
