Solo completion of Grandmaster Nightfall Birthplace of the Vile with Eyes of Tomorrow on Solar Warlock - Solo GM - Solo Nightfall - Gilded Conqueror - Eyes of Tomorrow - Dawn Chorus - Platinum Rank - Solar Warlock - Season of the Wish - Destiny 2 Lightfall.
I am a big fan of Eyes of Tomorrow exotic rocket launcher with its auto-tracking barrage concept. I thought that it might be a good idea for this GM as there are many groups of enemies, and eliminating those would work well towards the ammo refund perk of the rocket launcher. And the result was actually alright, especially during the boss fight you can pretty much delete spawning packs of Scorn with a single rocket, and it will be instantly refunded. Having said that, the immunity totems were a bit of nuisance as they rendered Eyes useless. This is where Dragon's Breath shines for example, it would just destroy the totem and everything around it with its DoT damage. Anyhow, I have had a lot of fun in this run, and I think Eyes of Tomorrow is in fact quite a good weapon!
As for the rest of the build, I have a pretty simple Solar Warlock with Dawn Chorus and Daybreak for some nice Super damage when required. Other than that, I have a Solar Hand Cannon (Zaouli's Bane) that works well with Solar Artifact perks, Ember of Empyrean for survivabilty, and deals with Unstoppable Champions. Lastly, I have a Kinetic Pulse Rifle (Chattering Bone) to deal with Overload Champions and have some range when needed.
