Solo completion of Grandmaster Nightfall Lake of Shadows with Forerunner on Solar Warlock - Solo Grandmaster - Solo GM - Solo Nightfall - Dawn Chorus - Forerunner - Platinum Rank - Gilded Conqueror - Solo Conqueror - How to Complete Lake of Shadows Guide - Solar Warlock Build - Season of the Wish - Destiny 2 Lightfall.
I don't think I have ever used Forerunner in a GM so for this run I am bringing it for a Solar Warlock clear. I think it's not really a good weapon and it is outclassed by many other weapons (i.e. Indebted Kindness or Buried Bloodline). However I can see it being more usable in the future when we lose access to anti-barrier sidearms etc. Having said that, we will probably have access to some other anti-barrier perks that will make other weapons more preferable.
As for the rest of the build, I have a pretty standard Solar Warlock with Dawn Chorus, and Solar Bow (Tyranny of Heaven) with Ember of Empyrean to get easy access to restoration. Lastly, I have a Solar LMG (Fixed Odds) to quickly mow down enemies when needed.
I used the boss cheese spot to make the run quicker. Also, I skipped the Tormentor section. You can find a no cheese/no skip Strand Titan clear using the link below.
