Man... it's been a very long time since I uploaded a playthrough in my channel.
But welll... after such long wait, here it is, a new playthrough!! (yeah, I know it sounds stupid. Trust me, I don't have anything clever to say...)
By the way, here's something a little bit different and also a bit obscure. This is Soldier Blade for the TurboGrafx-16.
For those who don't know what the TurboGrafx-16 is, here's a quick overview:
The TurboGrafx-16 is a 16-bit console manufactured by NEC. It was published in Japan as the PC Engine in 1987 and eventually it was released in North America in September of 1989, actually a few weeks before the release of the Sega Genesis/Megadrive.

Although the PC Engine was very popular in Japan (because it actually outsold Sega's console of the time), in the USA the console wasn't received very well mostly because of the next reasons:
-The console was only released on the largest metropolitan areas in the country like New York, Chicago and California, which means that people outside those cities weren't aware of the console's existence.
-The launch titles didn't show very well the graphic/sound capabilities of the console.
.It lacked the support of 3rd party videogames since companies were actually paying more attention to the most popular consoles of the time. And as a result, most of the games that were published in the USA were made by either NEC or Hudson Soft.
-Because of the reason I previously mentioned, this console was overshadowed by the Super Nintendo and the Sega Genesis.

It's not a bad console to be honest, but too bad it hasn't received too much popularity.
Also, the TurboGrafx-16 has TONS of shoot 'em up games, quite literally... so, fans of shmup games out there, you're gonna LOVE this console.

So, yeah, that's all I have to say. This video shows Stages 1 and 2 and I'm playing on the Hard difficulty.
Enjoy.
