Music commission for taztaroth @ Bluesky (🔞). I noticed after rendering the video that I've written his username incorrectly, but I feel lazy to re-render it so please just roll with it.
Anyway... this theme was composed as a continuation for a piece of art I've previously drawn for the client, which is something I haven't actually done before. Taking that into consideration, the main premise of this song was to compose a jolly theme with a scholar vibe to it, which goes up in tempo to indicate how brain-dead these trainees are at learning how to dress properly.
So yeah, there's plenty of bells here, in order to strengthen the academic vibe even further. If you take a closer listen, you may noticed I scattered the Westminster Chimes throughout the song. I know it's a chime that's almost exclusively heard on schools from Eastern countries, but I just thought it'd be cute to add them, lol.

Here are my compositions of the third weeks winners of my raffle... also known as the week of the dragons, since about three of them are those, haha.
With that in mind, I figured their themes should have some degree of epicness to them, since dragons are the most majestic creatures to ever exist in fictional media, haha.

While I didnt contribute a lot to this album, considering I was invited to join the team while it was near its completion, it was really fun to be working on this remaster.
Since the theme is mixed in the style of TD, theres a Spirit Trance version, which plays starting at 2:45!

Heres my chiptune cover of this 10-year-old VOCALOID classic.
Made with 0CC-Famitracker, using the Namco 163 chip for additional audio (I only used 5 out of the 8 extra channels, though).
What mainly enticed me to create this cover was Nerus phone beeps at the beginning of the song, since I imagined its waveform would be simple enough to recreate, and I was right. Speaking of which, all the waveforms I used for this cover were borrowed from existing games, save for the bass and the phone beep, which were entirely drawn on my own. And speaking of waveforms, the DPCM orchestra hit samples were taken from the Edirol SD-20.
Half-way during the creation of this cover of mine, I noticed that there was already an 8-bit cover of this song floating around, done by Kurofox4444, which uses the Konami VRC6. While it was nicely done, I personally felt certain aspects of it didnt have enough pizzazz, such as some inaccurate notes and a very faint percussion. So, with Kuros cover in mind, I kept experimenting to make something much more improved.
