A fresh new song uploaded today on The BBC Music! Im proud to present you a deep and emotional track from GregCookeMusic featuring Lurkah as a singer. This piece named Snowflakes turned out to bear that cozy warmth feeling as the song is talking about a girl. The piano and pad work nice with each other, creating the perfect vibe to fulfill our need of uplifting music. Also notice that the drums are chopped and layered to give the song some punch, adding to the many different hi-hats used in.
GregCookeMusic is the artist alias of... Greg Cooke! Hes a 20 years old producer who comes from Coventry, in England. This talented guy has only be making Drum and Bass for about a year now and already released some amazing tracks.
At the moment, FL Studio 8 XXL is the principal mean GregCookeMusic uses to make his music. He also uses other various softwares, but FL Studio is definitely the most used one.
In general, Greg LOVES music, especially chilled stuff he can relax to. He doesnt bound his productions to a particular genre, while staying in the electronic world. He studied music production for 3 years at college and really got into it. Seeing producers and Djs live just make him feel he wants to be there one day!
GregCookeMusic uses unique piano leads for his DnB work. Adding random old samples and playing around with them, Greg tries to create sounds of his own. He then works them out so they fit in the background of his tracks to make them a little bit different and unique.
There should be another release with Lurkah who was singing in this track so you might want to stalk that great artist! Probably another release in September also.

Finally got some time to write a nice description! So yesterday I uploaded this great uplifting track from Freemind. In Not free anymore the mix between dubstep wobbles and electro synths just perfectly goes along together. Actually theres something funny about this song that has nothing to do with music, Not free anymore is in fact... free to download!
As most of the artists on the channel, youve probably never heard of Freemind. From his real name Jaanus, Freemind is an electronic producer whos based in Tartu, a small city in Estonia. At 22 years old, Freemind is in the field of music production since mid 2005, totaling 6 years of experience. His favourite audio sequencer to produce his songs is the popular FL studio. Freemind also have a synthesizer where he sometime creates his melodies before running back to his computer!
He also went to a music school and play on his drum from time to time. Freemind mostly listen to drum and bass but lately the dubstep phenomenon affected his habits.
The first event that got him into this field was his friend who started to make music. He was hooked as soon as the idea fluttered in his head. With an ever growing love to produce music, Freemind makes all his songs by himself, improvising on the drum, melodies and so on. And thats where his inspiration came from for his name : Freemind let his mind free to dictate how the beat shall go.

Hey everyone!
Today on The BBC Music, Im proud to feature the song Rogue Status by Joncarr. When I first listened to this track at 2 in the morning, the epic intro put me in a really weird trance feeling, like if my whole body was numbed by the ingenious mix between back vocals and violins. The intro is serious, got me hooked within seconds. When that hushed snare began to play around as an announcement of a great event, I knew something big was to expect, that the awesomeness of the intro was just the tip of the iceberg. Thats when the deep bassline kicks in, added to an insane drum riff and to the almost sacrilegious vocals ambiance. You think that was the heavy part of the track? Get yourself stitched... every following seconds of the song are just pure mind blowing stuff!
Joncarr is the alias of electronic producer Jonathan Carr. Coming from Anchorage in the United States, this guy is probably the most underrated drum and bass producer Ive stumbled upon. With his first releases about a year ago, Joncarr has proven his abilities to play with sounds and explore frequencies. Constantly raising the level of his productions, this amazing artist has its own style, twisting melodic synths and ambient vocals to create amazing and unique soundscape within the world of drum and bass.
Beginning the music expedition in 1994 playing bass guitar in a hard edged punk band, California native Jon Carr has been attached to a music scene since. Typically listening to independent punk bands and edgier metal type music through the majority of his teen years, it seemed unlikely he would find his way into an electronic genre. Following the break up of the band in 1997 and dry spell in any type of music creation, it seemed as if it was the means to an end.
It wasnt until 1999 when Jon found himself inside a rave in Austin, TX that he was immediately drawn into the electronic music scene. Walking the footsteps of his previous teen years, Jon Carr was not only content with listening to the music, he wanted to create as well. This creation method was originally made possible by a piece of software called Dance eJay which was owned by a friend. This obviously was not going to be enough; simply sequencing pre-made loops was in no ways quenching the creative mind of Jon Carr.
Serious music production had commenced once Jon got his hands on Propellerheads Reason software in 2001. Jon started producing trance under the alias of J3C which eventually found its way into the more suiting, aggressive sounds of Drum and Bass. Drum and Bass is an obvious match for Jons edgy personality and this personality seamlessly weasels its way into the sounds of Joncarr.

The BBC Music is proud to present you today a remix of Modesteps popular song Sunlight by Calvertron and Helicopter Showdown! Expect more filth in this one. While this piece of work keeps the chilled vibe of the original song, the bit sounds and the glitchy synths lay on a deep bassline to add to the melody that I would classify as a banger.
Modesteps song Sunlight has received quite a lot of edifying critics and for cause. Behind this name hide brothers Tony and Josh Fiend who have individually been DJing since 2001, only forming the band in 2010 with Joshs roommate Matthew Curtis and more recently guitarist Nick Tsang. Basically theyre two guitarists, one drummer and one vocalist alongside the inevitable dub work. This combination of hard rock and electro definitely helped in their acclamation from the public.
Calvertron, for his part, started learning to produce with Cubase on an old Atari ST computer in the late 90′s. There were no softsynths back then, you had to buy thousands of pounds/dollars worth of keyboards, outboard fx units, samplers a mixing desk etc. to be able to make a track. It took him a long time to get all the gear together. These days all you need is PC and some monitors speakers and your away, which is great and makes it much easier for less privileged peeps to have their talent heard! He also used to play guitar in a thrash metal band until the Prodigy Steered his interest towards synthesizers and sampling. Calvertron then got into drum n bass in a big way, he used to buy records from labels like Trouble on Vinyl, Renegade Hardware, Metalheadz, V Recordings and Ram etc. These days some of Calvertron favourite producers and a big influence on his production would be Noisia, Datsik, Downlink, Doctor P, High Rankin, Figure to name a few.
Helicopter Showdown is heavy and melodic Dubstep from San Francisco, California. Rinsed heavily by Rusko, Reid Speed, Sluggo, Calvertron, PantyRaid and more, their Debut EP The Wrestler on Ultragore records made home to Beatports Dubstep Top 100 Chart with the title single in the Top 10 for 3 weeks.
The next releases Hostages also on Ultragore records (collab with SLUGGO) and their freely available Dramatron, Beat Down (Squitty Bubbler), along with the classic Whistle Tips (Dubsaw) (collab with Point.blank) have each received similar fanfare and critical acclaim, and have helped them earn the incredible support of the powerful Dubstep blogosphere.

Very soothing and uplifting song released on The BBC Music this Monday morning (in Montreal at least). In story about is a song by Fill featuring 1i10 (scene name of Masha Poyty) for the vocals samples. Fill is the alias of Bulb, which youve probably already heard about if youve followed my uploads. This song released about a year ago on Fills SoundCloud never had a lot of exposure on YouTube so I hope you will share this and push it a little higher, this amazing track deserves it!
Fill, or Bulb, is a Russian Drum and Bass/Electronic producer who started his career in 2009 when his first tunes appeared in Atmopunk podcast. Next, he released Cruelty Support on SILK (AU). This melodic-bomb appeared in Markus Intalex Soulution Radio and Microfunk podcast. Distinctions of the same tune with Tiiu vocals, appeared in Hospital June Democast and in 2011 it was released on Med Schools New Blood 011 compilation.
His tunes are supported by ASC, Markus Intalex, Ash, Nerm, Alley Cat, Reza, Balistics, FD, Notion, Boseg, Mike-L, Forge, Oak, Sobersoul, Eastcolors, Nuage, Slovar, Dmitriy Kutuzov, Pryzma, Physical Illusion, Gvozd and many others.

After a week of inactivity (in facts there was a lot of things going on but nothing that you would actually see!), I definitely needed to upload a new song. Since my last post was an incredible track, Phaross masterpiece Filthy Keys, I strived to find something at least as good or eventually better. Nevertheless, my efforts werent in vain : I uncovered some really talented upcoming artists and one of them just released a breath-taking track that he used to pushes his number of followers. After spreading the word around, he reached his goal and released the song for free. Im really proud to present you Tronix, the name of the duo who collaborated on this amazing track Newborn.
There is not much to say about this track! We started on a Friday and Barely worked on it throughout the weekend. Sunday came and by 02:00 Monday morning... We Finished!! We only wish to find a vocalist to vocalize the track for us! We also Combined Chill & Heavy !! O_O
In my opinion, theres a lot of thing to say about this song! Experimenting on a 110bpm Dubstep song, they just came out with a beautifully sharp release, charging us with a deep soothed feeling while stimulating our senses and mind. The piercing and resonant piano riff just imbricate perfectly within the mellow taste of the intros synth... and all the song during, even when the drop add to this tasteful mixture some harsh synth laid on a deep bassline with a couple of 8-bit samples, you can still feel the cozy harmony between every instruments. A definite banger that is guaranteed to please your ears!
Ok so thats an amazing song, but who is Tronix? Behind that alias hide two guys, Carl Dorvil and August Modigs who respectively have 17 and 16 years old. If these guys came up with such a song at their early age, I just cant imagine how skilled theyll be in a couple of years! Carl is hailing from Haiti while August comes from Sweden, two very different places! They have been producing music for about a year now but their collaboration has only started since May of 2011. They both use the popular software FL Studio to produce their song but Carl pushed it a little farther and learned to use Steinberg Cubase. One important fact to mention about these guys is that they actually never met. Carl is living in United States, August in Sweden, and thanks to Facebook they managed to collaborate on music production!
Tronix doesnt bound itself to some specific genre. With inspiration coming from about anything to everything, they love to mix genre to create some unique style within their songs. They have been diving into Progressive House, House, Electro and Dubstep. Tronix also worked on a couple of Drumstep and Drum and Bass songs which arent released yet (but hopefully will be soon!). The way Tronix produces is unique in itself, they dont follow some specific rule or try to fit, for example, on the most popular BPM used for Dubstep. For you Djs out there we will apologize in advance!. Alot of Tronixs music do not fit the regular bpm. They use 175, 152, 145, 130, 125, and 110bpm tracks. Also keep in mind that no matter what the bpm Tronix will produce any genre. You ever hear of 152 dubstep? Well soon you will O_O!
One thing that made me laugh... You are probably wondering whats up with the eyes? ( O_O )
Well Me and August both have spend many night coming up and producing many songs! If its 3am and your sitting in the dark producing music this , O_O, Is the face that you most likely have on your face Hehe! So yeah that basically were the idea came from!

Hey folks! I noticed my last two uploads werent available to download for free so I thought you might want something to feed your appetite!
When I first heard Zero Gravity, the beginning almost lost me. Nevertheless, my waiting wasnt vain : At 2:00, I slowly started to jiggle my head to the rhythm and I ended up totally bumping on my chair to the grooving beat. The song is meant to make you dance and to take your imagination where theres no gravity, with endless possibilities, dancing and floating... Shall the grooves penetrate you ;)
Tremah is a 25 years old electronic music producer hailing from the Sunshine Coast in Australia. He started making music in 2008, 3 years ago, using mostly FL Studio 9 because he finds it gives the greatest ease of producing. He also have messed around Cubase and Reason in the past but sticked to FL Studio as he was used to it and found it much easier to use. As an electronic producer, Tremah makes various different types of music which are mostly drum and bass although he also dabbled in dubstep and deep progressive house (like this song). Now what makes Tremah a special artist? He always try to vary his productions, renewing his style and incorporating some kind of mindset and emotion into each and every tracks.
Tremah is planning on putting an album together so you might want to keep an eye on him!
