In this video I compare the pips from the two Sola Busca (1491) decks I have, plus I also make reference to the Pamela Colman Smith deck (1909, the deck I used is a facsimile of the 1910 deck) made in collaboration with Arthur Edward Waite.
I also make commentary as it strikes me.
A few points I forgot to mention during the video:
In the 5 of Cups of the SB, notice the little dog nipping at the stockings of the young man. Also notice in the 9 of Cups, could that man serpent be a genie? As in granting 9 wishes?
PCS would have seen photographs of the SB deck (created in 1491), when they were on display in the British Museum around the same time or slightly before the WCS deck was created in 1909.
