So TonyHax as implied by the name is a hack first found via the game tony hawk , but has since been applied to many games and can be set up a few different ways. For this tutorial we are using the game exploit method and a ps2 to edit our ps1 memory card saves. If you have other means of adding these files to the memory card you can go about this the same way just without a ps2.
