During SOFINS 2021, Airbus launched its SatCom solution Next UHF. The service is based on a hosted payload, 100% owned by Airbus, on Eutelsat 36D satellite.

Ultra High Frequency (UHF) SatCom Service:
It will carry 18 UHF channels which will provide secure control links and support common legacy UHF terminals. The payload is operated by Airbus from protected and guarded sites.

NATO coordinated frequencies:
Airbus partnered with the French Ministry of Armed Forces to get access to NATO coordinated frequencies, while will also get benefits from this capacity.
