Our new season effectively starts now and here in this introductory video you can discover what kind of music (categories) you may expect and we also added some information on our updated and fully revised blog - Amore Musicorum (Latin for "I Love (my) music" :-) ! Our blog got an entirely new lay out and the first article in our new Bert Kaempfert series is now online for you to discover. In between the publication of the different "large text" episodes (24) we alternately will post smaller "faits divers" and/or interesting facts & figures about Bert Kaempfert.
Nice anecdote : when I walk into a record shop and ask young people if they "know" the music of Bert Kaempfert, .. they usually reply something like : " Bert .... who " ??
When I then "predict" that they WILL know Bert Kaempfert they are even more amazed..... But singing "Strangers in the Night", "Blue Spanish Eyes, "Love" or whistling "A Swingin Safari" or "Afrikaan Beat" .... brings them "back to Earth" :-) Oh yes, sure we know those songs..... we only didn't know that he was the composer and arranger of all that fabuloud music....
Well "kids of the 21st Century" ;-) = it has been proven that ... the Music of Bert Kaempfert is still with us and ... it's ALIVE AND KICKING ! We wish you lots of enjoyment with this "official" season opening trailer and be prepared .... there's a lot of good (life) music coming ! We wish all subscribers and occasional visitors a happy and careless new musical season !
