This is a routine I wrote almost ten years ago to go with a different illusion I was doing called Puppet Theater...I did the routine for about a year but the illusion was too big to travel with so I adapted this more scaled down version which as taken me all over the world!


Big shoutout to my friends Gary Tunnicliffe and Sarah "Stitchy" Wade who helped me bring this into life!


It is a story of how when I was starting out in magic growing up I never showed my friends any magic tricks because I thought people would find it "dorky"...


So I would read books and dream of being on tour and traveling all over the world in real theatres with real audiences and real magic props...but in the meantime I would make all my own out of cardboard and construction paper and duct tape and I would transform my bedroom into a pretend theater and stage - the desk lamps were my stage lights - the action figures etc was my audience...
