The evolution of the act continues...this is the short lived vampire act I did when I was a kid....

I am bringing back some old VHS buried in a cave (box in the garage) and video of an old act back from the dead that's 13 year old Danny all dressed as a vampire and that's kinda like coming back from the dead so yah there's a connection in there somewhere...
Fun fact...when I was 11, at Easter, my mom got me my first dove so i could learn how to care for them - what they're about as animals - practice with for magic tricks and gradually work into the show - etc. Shortly after more were added to the family and during this process "the act" began to take form.
My first "dove act" was when I was 12. It was all themed around me being a vampire in a cemetery. (I learned about the whole themed act thing from watching the very few magician contests I was exposed to) but, the judges were not a fan of this style, act, me - the whole package. So this act didn't last long and evloved only a little bit here and there. In the end, I did it only a few times over the course of a year or so because of bad marks and reviews I got from the contest judges.
I was really into Halloween, Universal Studios Monsters and beginning my introduction to horror movies and horror punk music ... I mean I was 13 here, c'mon. But the judges and some folks just weren't into what I was experimenting with here, so I took away all of that and went back to a more traditional act inspired by my love of classic magic and Chavez style acts.
For a few years I worked on that act...not going anywhere, not winning contests nor getting any real major bookings or anything, no notoriety for any parts i thought were cool (I was a teenager wtf did I think would happen) but didn't feel I was advancing or even "me", I was settling because I was told that whole vampire thing wouldn't work.
Until one day when I was like 16, I said fuck it, and wore my Demonia boots with my tail coat...and slowly let what I was into and what I was in real life - into the act, into the show again...and that's when things started to change, really change. I found my first "Easter egg".
