Hi, Picky Redhead here. Sharing my very first soap volcano adventure.
My mom is visiting me from Montana and I was so excited to make her a Mint Me In Montana soap with Montana beeswax, Montana honey, Montana mint that she hand picked by the Big Hole River. It was my first time adding honey to a batch and I knew soap cool because honey overheats. This was 5 grams of honey in 1055 grams of oils.... which I didn't let cool down as much as I obviously should have or I should have used a different mold. The smaller batches did not overheat.
A volcano! How perfectly embarrassing but my Mom loves it. Montana is on top of a super volcano after all. For your viewing enjoyment. Color is grass, we blended fresh clipings with a little water and strained. EO peppermint and rosemary. We were able to cut just 3 hours after the pour.
