In this episode of "I have a Trebuchet" I start the process of tuning and improving the machine to take it from "TV works" to "Really works". And of course we throw some stuff! Pumpkins, GoPros, Bowling balls and.... well, watch it and find out!

I was commissioned by Xbox to make and operate a trebuchet for a film celebrating the launch of their new game Age of Empires IV and it is now mine!

What???? Simple really, they wanted one, I built it, they paid me and then needed to dispose of it after the film; I simply helped with all stages of the problem............and here it is and Nearly ready for flinging. I had to make some design choices for the original film that I would not have made if I was just building it for myself so I have to go back and make those changes before I can really start to use it.

It goes without saying I have always wanted to build one and discover all about them and this is a perfect opportunity to do just that, so over the next few months I plan to tune it and shoot it - a lot. Understand it, explain it and film it all.

If you would like to support this channel, visiting my sites really helps as does signing up to the news letter on the websites, either one is fine
