I'm not sure whether to even call this an original because this theme is actually from Shining Shattering Sky ~ Reverie of Breaking Unreality, and this theme plays when you're climbing up a mountain with a torii gate at the base.

I went with the theme of climbing up a mountain because tomorrow I'll be at Anime Fest in the mountainous city of Pittsburgh, showcasing everything I've done over the past eleven years, with the addition of having my newest Touhou Project fangame in the works as a playable game. I had to prepare the prototype in a week in a similar way to a game jam.

I composed the theme last April and I initially planned to make it oriental-sounding but I went against it. I cited Walking the Snowy Mountains from Final Fantasy V and the Snow Theme from Super Mario Bros. Wonder as inspiration.
