The Respect Crew goes snorkeling at Trunk Bay on St. John in the United States Virgin Islands. It's known as one of the world's most beautiful beaches. Snorkeling is a main attraction here and it's not the easiest thing to get away from the herds of tourists that come in on cruise ships and every which way but loose.
One of the more unique things about this beach is that it has a "hiking trail" UNDERWATER. There is a snorkeling path that you can follow and read plaques that were set down in the coral reef to read about the marine life in Trunk Bay. In this video, the crew follows the sunken pathway and circles the most iconic geographical feature in this water - a rigid, tiny, not-easy-to-climb island that juts up in the middle of the bay. It's easy to spot from the seaside when sailing past as well. We were lucky to hang out here when there weren't too many people around. Check out Trunk Bay!
