This was filmed on Friday morning at 8 am on November 15th, 2019. Just 5 days after the last festival day, Wurstfest is on fire and since I'm living at The Landmark nextdoor, I had to bring my drone out. Two things:
1) Should I have brought my drone out? Perhaps not.
2) Was I safe and responsible? Yes.
Because of the fire and response crews, I only flew my drone up close to the Landmark building so that I don't get in any flight paths of the helicopter that's circling and I didn't want to be overhead of firefighters while they work on the building. It looks like the main thing that is on fire is the main Wurstfest hall where all of the food vendors are and the giant dance hall. Hopefully they're able to save the iconic Wurstfest building!
