Hey all! Here's a little remix I slapped together about a week ago. I was playing Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on my Switch (I'm trying to 100% it XD) and I had forgotten how pretty the theme for SNES Rainbow Road is! I love the way the main synth in the background slides up to each chord and was itching to emulate the effect, so I opened up my DAW and put together this remix!
I think the hardest part of this was figuring out a good suite of instruments for the main melody that helped add character to the song while also ensuring it didn't sound "empty". I'm pretty happy with how it turned out so I hope you all enjoy it too!
