Hey all! This remix is a bit of an interesting one for me and I REALLY enjoyed making it! I was listening to video game music while working last week and the theme for Deep Woods happened to be one of the songs in the playlist I was using. Just to be clear, I've never actually played any of the Sonic storybook games; but the theme for Deep Woods was so beautiful that I popped open FL Studio and started trying to remix it immediately!
I had a lot of fun getting experimental with my string and brass samples as well as screwing around with my steel guitar vst. While I was working on the song, I couldn't help but feel like it would make a great theme for a forest based level in a fangame or something. That's kinda what I was going for so I hope it conveys that sorta feel. I also tried to slip in a callback to "Knight of the Wind", the main theme of Sonic and the Black Knight, so I hope you all enjoy that as well!

Hey all, Ive been working on this project for about a month now and Im super happy to finally unveil the finished product! On my Ground Edit theme remix video, I was contacted to contribute some music to a mod adding the level themes from New Super Mario Bros. Wii to Super Mario Maker 1 and 2! The Ground theme I arranged is being included with the mod and I also got to create this Sky theme and a Snow theme to go with it.
