How different do Aquarian, Evans and Remo snare drumheads sound? Brand, single ply, double ply, control ring, dot, air vents: does it really make a big difference?

The heads were tuned so the fundamental pitch of the DW snare drum was roughly the same (around a 3G# note, checked with a tune-bot) while the resonant heads remained the same (at 400 Hz). The heads were recorded with the same mic setup, same level settings and no eq, compression or other effects applied.
