Because of a comment on my drum heads video (http://www.youtu,be/oyGoyE6b9Ck?hd=1), I decided to try some different bass drum miking setups. Recorded with an AKG D-112 and Shure PG-81 overheads. As I had a KickPort lying around, I did some recordings with that as well.

Both resonant heads were tuned to the same (87 Hz or a 2F note, checked with a tune-bot).

Be sure to switch to HD mode for best sound quality.
