In response to seeing several MOC builders on Discord asking for ways to better present their LEGO creations, I thought I'd show a simple and easy workflow with great results, that you can do with nothing but your phone and 5 bucks for a cardstock sheet.

Free android apps to try in case your phone's native editor doesn't have the tools used in this video (I tried each one personally to confirm it allows you to do what I do in this video):

Recently, I ordered several minifigs and also stumbled over a good deal for Commander Gree. Took the opportunity and here hes got his first appearance!
I got a little out of practice in terms of my good old ground detailing and made a few steps towards my expectations here with the rocky section of this MOC. The original idea was based just upon the thought of a swamp river or lake that sits a bit down in the ground and I think the main pool on the MOC turned out pretty well and the shoreline also looks very close to what I imagined.

I started this MOC months ago, but it took a good long while until the final push, which was the last few days.
It shows a damaged structure of whatever kind, with victorious rebels taking a rest, having stuck the helmets of two fallen stormtroopers into the sand.
The rise of a resistance that should one day win over the empire.
