Here I am, back with my latest LEGO Star Wars MOC: Division!

This one I called 'Division' in the sense of families and relationships being broken by war.
Because we're still portraying a Star War and even though I rarely build battles or other scenes directly showing acts of war, I felt like showing the more subtle dark side of war. Therefore also the dark mood throughout the video.

Originally, I had an execution in mind, after reading about a massacre from world war two, where all men of a small town were killed. There are many facettes of war, that I find inhuman, and the killing or taking of innocent people is one of the worst.
So. Interpret this MOC the way you like, but keep its original purpose in mind.
And to end this off,
may the fourth be with you. Always.

Recently, I ordered several minifigs and also stumbled over a good deal for Commander Gree. Took the opportunity and here hes got his first appearance!
I got a little out of practice in terms of my good old ground detailing and made a few steps towards my expectations here with the rocky section of this MOC. The original idea was based just upon the thought of a swamp river or lake that sits a bit down in the ground and I think the main pool on the MOC turned out pretty well and the shoreline also looks very close to what I imagined.

I started this MOC months ago, but it took a good long while until the final push, which was the last few days.
It shows a damaged structure of whatever kind, with victorious rebels taking a rest, having stuck the helmets of two fallen stormtroopers into the sand.
The rise of a resistance that should one day win over the empire.
