Ordered a few Tomica cars from Japan and they just arrived! This effectively doubles the collection. Let's have a look at...
a Tomica Rolls Royce - had it since the early '80s...
three Mercedes Benz 450 SELs - obtained the 'Pocket Cars' one a few years ago and the two loose ones last year...
a mid-70s Nissan Cedric wagon - might've had this model back in the '70s, obtained this example a couple days ago.
Then there's the five imports...
The Lamborghini Countach is compared and contrasted with a pair of Matchbox 'Lambos'.
The Volkswagen 'Type II' - haven't seen that variant anywhere else.
The Prince Skyline sedan and wagon are the super-stars of the collection. Love! Love! Love! Will be looking for more mid-century Japan home market car models in the future.
The Nissan Cedric TLV looks like bare metal with maybe a clear coat. A bit disappointing as that's not a look we fancy - thought we were getting a gray car. Still a nice model with a swell presentation case.
