Needlessly Sexualised™
Rules:
- This is a low level run of zombero's hardtype mod: romhacking.net/hacks/3299
- The aim is to keep XP gain as low as possible without affecting my sanity.
- Hard mode, obviously
- No stat boosting items
- All other game mechanics are fair game!
Hardtype changes:
- HP: 2300 → 4500
Damage check! We get to choose our round 1 game over here. Without resistance any of Dismal Tune, Mazanma or crits from Hades Blast can kill us. Djed protects us against the most moves while also being a good magatama to level with (there are plenty of battles coming up where phys resistance is necessary). Once we survive the opening round and slap a couple of Debilitates on him he literally can't kill us. From there it's just a matter of buffing up and timing our attacks right. We need to kill him in 2 rounds, since he casts Diarahan every round he takes damage apart from when he falls below 50% health and his dialogue is triggered. I've never fought Mara properly in a LL run before, preferring le funni attack mirror cheese in vanilla, so it's good to know that it's easy enough to pull off. Prayer over Mediarama now because I'm forced to use demons with weak magic, but Mediarama may come back in future.
