Guns don't kill people, demons do
Lowdown on the restrictions of this challenge:
- EXP gain is only permitted in boss fights and forced encounters, and must be minimised by only having 1 character active at the end of each battle.
- Autolevelling must also be minimised as much as possible. Argilla and Roland take all XP before they leave the party to reduce the impact of this later on, and Argilla's level must not exceed 12 so it doesn't affect Sera's starting level.
- This is a cycle 2 playthrough on hard difficulty with no data transfer bonuses.
- I will be fighting all bosses rather than doing a true minimum EXP run, cuz that's more fun. And let's face it, you're only here for Satan.
- The use of Data items to permanently raise stats is forbidden for as long as possible - at least until Shiva.
These fights aren't too bad without mirrors, but for the low price of 1 mirror each we can bum rush 'em. I got a few extra mirrors from lootboxes beforehand for the upcoming fights, and also decked out the Trick Ring anew using all the best +magic gems I had lying around. Give it to Cielo as they have suspiciously high evasion for stationary objects.
The abnormallylargebrain strat is the same for both. Spam Neutron Shot, Taunt and throw up the relevant mirror. This should end both fights in 3 rounds flat with minimal luck needed. You can even get away with Thunder Shot as a backup if the Laser Cannons revert Roland.
As with some other bosses, you can't even end the battle prematurely by accident, because they can only die 1 at a time (the other survives with 1 HP). It's like the devs knew someone was gonna attempt this!
