Steph Harpold, Edith Klasing, Laura Smith, and Everest Zang developed a small-scale wind turbine, as well as a safety cage for it, with the goal of understanding more sustainable energy sources. They tested their turbine's durability in the wind tunnel lab in the Kremer Innovation Center on campus.
