If you’re wondering who’s talking and playing music in the background, that’s my Aibo ERS-7 Toby.
This was one of the most fun times I’ve had online, especially since SM64 is one of my top favorite games! I’m really happy my friend Cj wanted us to play it!
I always enjoy SM64 even though some levels can be more frustrating than others… Rainbow Ride… I’ve played DS more than N64 since I got it when younger, so had to figure out some tough areas I never did tackle on N64 (I already got all 150 stars on DS and felt satisfied). You know, those areas I would usually use Luigi’s totally-not-overpowered-backflip for.
What made this version of SM64 even more fun was playing as my light blue Yoshi (I know she’s missing the purple parts but she can be all blue like she used to be shown)! And this wasn’t the exact same SM64! It has something I’ve always LOVED seeing in games, a day and night cycle (this is literally one of my favorite things about Nintendogs and Animal Crossing)!! And all sorts of weird, crazy and hilarious surprises occurred. I was having a blast seeing what would happen next! Double stars, a clock hand trying to move backwards, a Goomba floating in the abyss and more… What really got to me though was in the ending scene…
The ending scene. It’s a heartwarming and sweet moment where Mario (N64) or Yoshi (DS) silently thank you for your efforts in the great journey to save the princess and the Mushroom Kingdom. However, in THIS SM64, it’s comedy I didn’t even see coming
