This video is about how I slowed down the Singer Heavy Duty Series USA Versions I own.
PLEASE NOTE! This could possibly VOID your warranty. And since you are dealing with electricity then do so at your own risk as making a mistake can injure or it could even KILL YOU. You will want to UNPLUG YOUR machine before making any changes.
I reached out to Sewing Parts Online to find out which foot pedal they offered that allowed you to slow down the speed using the technique I presented in this video. If you order it please let us all know the results. Here is a link to it: [I removed the link - see note below]
UPDATE: I ordered this pedal and it DID NOT have the ability to adjust the speed.
