This week Peter Pilbeam uses the manual milling machine to slot mill 6" (150mm) galvanised steel pipe with a 6mm 4 flute end mill taking a single pass full depth of cut. Pipe wall thickness was 1/4" (6mm) and total length of slot was 20" (500mm).
