This was a gift, which caused video-making to become secondary to quality. Filming a project causes that project to take about ten times longer to complete. On top of that, you are constantly tripping over tripods, light-stands and cords (which are all extraneous to the actual project). These distractions reduce the quality of whatever you are working on. Additionally, this project utilizes techniques that have mostly all been covered in my previous videos. Wood-working project videos are becoming redundant, and I am hesitant to fill up more space and time with unnecessary lecturing (descriptions don't count). Three minutes- and you get how I did it, so now you can make it too. Isn't that better than the fourteen minute instructional that has a one minute introduction after a commercial? I'm assuming some measure of problem solving ability on the part of the viewer, because most things unique are not made with a blueprint, so you'll have to tinker a bit. Best part of all: YouTube's Association of Standardized Safety (A.S.S.) can say nothing to me about my risky procedures, because I used a Starfleet issue replicator to make this thing, as far as they can prove. Side note of moderate interest to the viewer who actually reads my self-indulgent and pretentious rants: I have started working on a project that will be simply awesome. It will be a blend of several of my interests, to produce what will hopefully be the best thing that I have offered yet. This one will be educational and have an aesthetically pleasing result, but it will be easy to make for anyone who is so inclined. The only thing I will tell you about it: pi. In closing, I would like to mention that I have been taking a lot of flak in the comments recently for my "rude" responses. Try to understand that only a portion of my actual personality is revealed in such comments, and I hope that for this reason you will reserve judgment of me until you are absolutely sure that you don't like me. In a way, we are all playing a part, and although I am pretty genuine (compared to some) in my responses, they don't carry the inflections or subtleties that I use to deliver my actual, intentional response.
