In this video, I show you some Street Racing gameplay from Sleeping Dogs, and this is the first race Wei participates in during the story, to prove him self to the triads, like an Induction. So how will it go?
Within Sleeping Dogs, there are a tonne of things to do, from Martial Arts Clubs to Favours to Car Theft Jobs to Street Racing. Street Racing is pretty fun within Sleeping Dogs, considering the game isn't based around Racing itself.
It can't be compared to games such as Forza, and NFS as these games are purely based on Racing, where as Sleeping Dogs is an Open World Adventure that contains much more elements than just racing. Although, some ex-creators of the Need For Speed games helped out on this game, so there may be a bigger part of the game based on racing, but overall I think the racing is fun with it's arcade style, and "Wheel-Man Game" features where you can swipe cars to the left or right.
As I said, this is the first race you participate in within Sleeping Dogs, and the car used is also the first car you are given for racing, and it is a C class car, not great but a good contender in this race!
