In this video, I show you some Free Running and Climbing gameplay from Assassins Creed 3, Where Connor will be climbing up various structures in the boiling heat, to leaping from tree to tree in the snowy frontier!
Free Running and Climbing has been one of the main elements from previous Assassins Creed Games, and has always been on of my favourite parts of the Assassins Creed series, as it's extremely fun to do and looks great!
I was aiming to produce a Free Roaming video, but due to ending up filming 30 minutes worth of footage I edited down the footage, and split the it into Free Running (And Climbing) and Combat. So look out for a Combat video hopefully coming within the next few days.
Back to this video, it isn't the longest video in the world and it doesn't show the best places for free running and climbing, this video is purely just to show some footage of Assassins Creed 3, and to view how it's been improved from the last in terms of free running and climbing mechanics.
Unfortunately, Connor has his hood down constantly for me now, as I have finished the Campaign and for some odd reason once you complete it and return to Connor, his hood stays down. So sorry about that, but he is wearing an outfit I bought that makes him look like he belongs in the brotherhood with the original colours, White and Red!
So I hope you enjoy the video! This was filmed with an HD PVR so 720p HD is recommended for best quality.
