Skyscrapers is a magical flight through a futuristic megacity. As this city is built at 1/10 scale, Skyscrapers provides the illusion of a city of 2.56km x 2.56km that you fly around in – or about 100 normal Sims ! “Skyscrapers” was built over 6 months by Gem Preiz who built it piece by piece and it once required several days to put everything in place. Now it takes 5 minutes. The city is stored in a 1-prim rezzer and when fully installed, it becomes a sim-wide installation of 10,000 prims.
The movie is a step by step installation from nothing, to full city and landscape, using different skies, and then and back to nothing in 18minutes. We hope you enjoy!
"Skyscrapers"は1/10スケールで作られており、2.56km×2.56kmの都市を飛び回っているような錯覚に陥りますが、これは通常のシムであれば約100体分に相当します。"Skyscrapers "はGem Preizが6ヶ月かけて作ったもので、未来の都市をミニチュア化したものです。ジェムは一つ一つのパーツを組み立てていきましたが、以前はすべてを配置するのに数日かかっていました。 今では5分で終わります。 都市は1プリムのレッツァーに格納されており、完全に設置されると、シム全体で1万プリムの設置となります。
このムービーは、何もない状態から、様々な空を使って都市や風景を表現し、そして18分間で何もない状態に戻るという、段階的なインスタレーションです。 ぜひお楽しみください。
