Manifiesto, A Celebration of Heritage

Manifiesto was choreographed by Vivian Islar and is presented by the team of Proyecto Identidad Sur in celebration of the rich cultural heritage of Latin America.
Proyecto Identidad Sur was built by a group of caring people, weaving their knowledge together to enable Latin America to sing and dance its history. It consists of Vivian Islar, freyja (CreamyMuffins), vvvier, maximo (MaximoDecimoMeridio Zarco), Yoyo (Yoyo Elcano) and Luke Jackson (Coohandluke). Technical support has been provided throughout by Freyja, and the stage was constructed with the assistance of Ionsilver Whitaker.
Each song within Manifiesto has its own narrative and dance, telling a story and capturing the essence of the feelings and experiences of its people. The language of Latin American identity is colored by both colonialism and post-modernity, but the ancestral voices can still be heard within it, preserving their history. The language may be foreign, but it is spoken by an ancient world.

El Proyecto Identidad Sur fue construido por un grupo de personas solidarias, que entretejen sus conocimientos para que América Latina cante y baile su historia. Está formado por Vivian Islar, freyja (CreamyMuffins), vvvier, maximo (MaximoDecimoMeridio Zarco), Yoyo (Yoyo Elcano), Luca (Gam30ver) y Zarkoh (Zarkoh Thorkveld). El apoyo técnico ha corrido a cargo de Freyja, y el escenario se construyó con la ayuda de Ionsilver Whitaker.
Cada canción de Manifiesto tiene su propia narrativa y danza, contando una historia y capturando la esencia de los sentimientos y experiencias de su gente. El lenguaje de la identidad latinoamericana está teñido tanto por el colonialismo como por la posmodernidad, pero las voces ancestrales aún pueden oírse en él, preservando su historia. La lengua puede ser extranjera, pero la habla un mundo antiguo.
