The spring season has arrived in Skyrim! As the land comes back to life after a long and dark winter, so to does the night sky with the most spectacular rain, thunder, and lightning storms! This video features six very stormy nighttime scenes accompanied by music from Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim, and The Elder Scrolls Online.
This video is also a little more "dark and dramatic" than my normal content, and features a much more "present" sound of rain and thunder. The music also gets more dramatic at the beginning and end of the video, with a bit of a calm spell in between. This remaster and modlist is designed to enhance the vanilla Skyrim experience while maintaining the look, feel, and aesthetic of the original game. The only real departure from vanilla is the addition of the Great Whiterun Forest, which transforms the tundra outside Whiterun into a dense and expansive forest. The ENB can be changed to suit a darker, colder, or more fantasy-like experience, but I feel that Silent Horizons largely maintains the feel of vanilla Skyrim.
