As you leave Winterhold behind and make your way south to the The City of Kings, you decide to visit the Shrine of Azura buried in the beautiful (but treacherous!) mountains of The Pale. This walk in the snow will take you well into the night, and will offer you a great chance to see the aurora of the crisp and clear northern night sky!

This remaster and modlist is designed to enhance the vanilla Skyrim experience while maintaining the look, feel, and aesthetic of the original game. The only real departure from vanilla is the addition of the Great Whiterun Forest, which transforms the tundra outside Whiterun into a dense and expansive forest. The ENB can be changed to suit a darker, colder, or more fantasy-like experience, but I feel that Silent Horizons largely maintains the feel of vanilla Skyrim.
