This is an Any% All Levels speedrun of Skylanders Giants (the Wii game played on the WiiU), performed on Easy mode in 1 hour, 39 minutes, and 39 seconds. As of this recording, it is the current second place run.
Eye Brawl enters the meta! A newly discovered glitch forces Eye Brawl to warp directly up to the highest inhabitable ground when his body falls into the void. This can be exploited to skip the final block puzzles and the last enemy battle in Rumbletown, saving around 30 seconds!
I stopped the timer a little early, but I added the missing seconds to the final time.
I think I have what it takes to reclaim the WR!

This is an Any% IL speedrun of the seventh Chapter of Skylanders Giants for the Wii (played on the WiiU) on Easy mode. The final in-game time is 3 minutes and 35 seconds. As of this recording, it is the new world record.
Several new innovations have been implemented into this run:
- The introduction of a Lightcore to avoid the battle at the beginning of the Chapter, saving the seconds that would have been used to defeat the enemies.
- The greatest improvement yet, and for the first time on video: the Shroomboom Wilikin gate skip, originally found by staid. Because this is a key door, we dont need to look for all of the keys now. And because all keys work with all gates, this means we can bring a key with us and use it on the final gate immediately, skipping the entire last enemy battle.
- An improved Shroomboom launch skip to avoid the troll battle and prevent the spawning of the boxes simultaneously.
We are approaching levels of broken that should not be possible, and its all through the refined potential of our lord and savior, Shroomboom.")

This is an Any% IL speedrun of the twelfth Chapter of Skylanders Giants for the Wii (played on the WiiU) on Easy mode. The final time is 5 minutes and 56 seconds. As of this recording, it is the new world record. (EDIT 2019: Due to the introduction of IL timing subcategories for IGT and RTA, this run is no longer the IGT World Record run, but it is still the World Record run in terms of Real Time (RTA).)
The Arena Battle Chapters are always big in time. Theres no quick way to get them over with, so any big skips have to be before the battle happens. A new skip has recently been found in Molekin Mountain, starring a new possible addition to the All Levels meta: Pop Fizz with the beast upgrade route.
Pop Fizzs beast attacks have slight anti-gravity properties. By themselves individually, the effects arent much, but spamming the attacks causes him to hover forward, rivaling the effectiveness of Stealth Elfs combo lunge. The real kicker is that one of Pop Fizzs beast upgrades gives him a lunge move of his own if you drink the purple potion. The lunge retains vertical height very well. A couple runners have theorized that this could be used to skip the last major block puzzle in MM, and I confirmed this to be true, but I took this skip a step further and hovered some more to skip the block-pushing portion below - no blocks required. This saves quite a bit of block-pushing, and this skip will most likely make it into the All Levels meta. This run is probably a perfect demonstration of this new skip.
By the way, the time in Livesplit appears red because of a run before this one. In this run, I introduced Lightcores and placed Flameslinger in certain sections to decrease in-game time, but this greatly increases real time.")
