And here we are with the last of the ads I digitized from the mythic 1989/1991 tape we have, that was used to record "The Goonies" on Thames and was formally used to record "The Blues Brothers" on Anglia...which was formally used to record something both my parents claim to have never had: Sky Satellite, which was in its first year of being a dedicated network of multiple channels rather than just the one. Though as that One was Sky Channel, which would be known more as Sky 1 after a name-change mere weeks since this was recorded, that fact would almost seem irrelevant.

Speaking of irrelevancy, yes indeed, having a newly redigitized upload of this means we have to remember that "Jameson Tonight" exists. I had to cut down on the amount of the show that was in this upload so I could keep this at 15 minutes *and* to reinstate the BUPA ad that I omitted last time (because the tech to better restore audio has come much further and become much more accessible than it was in 2016, as the BUPA ad on the tape has a woeful audio defect where it's impossibly quiet) buuuuuuut...I have plans with Archive.org to take the entirety of what's on here of "Jameson Tonight" and some full TV-recorded things (selectively ofc, no films or mega-copyrighted stuff, sorry) there but...I shall talk more about that when stuff's more ready but for now, enjoy the monsterously awkward-glimpses in better quality and sound than ever! Because someone's gotta!! ...Hell!!

You may be surprised to hear that some very small parts of this, for the YouTube upload of these things, had to have pieces from the 2012 upload I did of this stuff utilised as alternate sources visually. While that upload is objectively worse in video quality, these sections I used them in aren't things that're high-frame rate so I figured I could get away with them. For whatever reason, the digitisation process I use now absolutely *hates* the end of the Sky News promo and brighter parts of the Halifax ad as the brightness goes spectacularly high. No idea if it's something to do with how Astra satellites interacted with VCRs recording what its beaming down or what-have-you (the 2012 upload has visible unsteadyness at points when the Halifax at was at its brightest so maybe that's a clue? Who knows) but...hey, I wanted to make sure even though I'm prioritizing archival completeness and truth-to-form that you could also...y'know, *see* what you're watching and as much better as this new source is in almost every sngle way, that seemed to be the one time things worsened.

More stuff to come whenever I have stuff to share of this nature. :) Glad to have finally re-digitized this tape, long time coming.
