So after killing him on my second attempt on NG, I wasn't sure what to expect in terms of difficulty here. Well, 57 attempts later. But honestly, it's all about patience. It's easy to get carried away attacking. Just like Mido, managing ichor is really important. You need to hit enough to get ichor back, but you also need to get dodging to stay alive. And it's easy for the beginning of the fight to throw you off once you get used to the end of the fight, or vice versa. Him being more passive at the start can throw you off, or it can make you unready for the later more aggressive phases later on.
I love this boss, I think I like him more than Mido, but it's close. I really like the homing orbs around you, but it adds variety to the fight and makes the final phase something more than just what it ends up being with Skull King, dodge, hit, dodge, hit. Also I love Mido's monologues. Silva just roars a lot.
I think I'll stop this run here for the time being. I love a lot of the bosses in this game, but I think I covered the ones I cared about most. The ones that are left out, namely Claw, Dynamic Duo, and Moon Presence I MEAN Virgin Born, are really not fun for me to fight. And I also don't think I'd ever actually be able to do the duo.
