A fun "roller ball" game from Ubi Soft (1989).
Very slippery controls :-)
This game was also released under the name "Skateball", i don't know the reason for the name change but it seems it was called Skateball in France( Canada?) and Skate Wars in the rest of the world.
The title screen (skate wars) also mention "Epyx" but neither the game box or manual has any mention of Epyx?

Just some more random gameplay, still a bit early in the game as i only played a couple of hours so far and i had still not found out you could stack waepons and items to get better versions of them :) This is a really awesome game that i cant belive i missed so far.

Xenon 2 - Megablast was made by the Bitmap Brothers and released in 1989, this DMA music hack for Atari STE was made by PP in 2015.

The music in this video was selected by me and consist of Time Trax - title Sharp X68000 (YM2151) arrangements by unknown author (original Sega Megadrive version by Tim Follin) and the ingame music is by Jesper Kyd from the Megadrive game Red Zone (song called Datarum).

The capturecard lost the video signal when i entered the third screen so it looks a bit messy at that point also it did of course loose the signal for some seconds when i pressed the reset button to enter the reset screen.")

Almost 3 hours of Symphony gameplay... a quite boring video really since this is not the type of game that need long videos but i made one anyway ;)
The soundtrack is from the Atari ST computer by the composer Jean-Sébastien Gerard (Jess) and his music fit very well to this game i think... although the YM2149 soundchip do not produce enough bass for the subwoofer weapon :)
The gameplay reminds me of Gridrunner.

Escapade was made by Kathy Steinbach and released in 1992.
A quite unique puzzle concept that i never seen anywhere else. Can be fun to play when you are in the mood for this type of games... sadly i was not when i did the video recording, but i just wanted to make an video showing this game on youtube. I managed to get the orange key at least :-)
The mini breakout game in the lower right corner is nice touch.

It is a very difficult game... at least too difficult for me, i did manage to get to level 10 but i used a warp and on my fourth try :)
The wierd flip scrolling is making it a bit more difficult to play.
And i think i managed to find the only place in the game you can get stuck at... look at 19:06 in the video.
Sorry about the ads that pop up but thats only because Youtube found Matched third-party content... it is the Giana Sisters title music that was matched.

Stephen Jones has released another update to the progress of the STE version of R-Type, called STNICCC preview.
Now all stages are playable even if i only get to stage 6 without cheat, but i play on easy difficulty or else i would probably not even get to stage 3 :)
This version is not finished and it is most noticable on the battleship level, still playable though.

I decided to do another Skyrim video with a dragon fight and this time i manage to kill a dragon alone for the first time, i also do the Nettlebane quest and at the end i get killed by a Giant Frostbite Spider... those are worse than the dragons :-/
I will probably do two more Skyrim vidoes since it is such a big game... it will be fun to look back at those videos in a couple of years :-)
