#DYK on this day eight years ago, U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Singapore Minister for Foreign Affairs and Law K Shanmugam signed a memorandum of understanding on the Singapore-United States Third Country Training Program (TCTP). TCTP is a partnership between the U.S. Department of State and the Singapore Ministry of Foreign Affairs to jointly conduct capacity building courses for ASEAN countries and Timor-Leste. Singapore and the United States draw on complementary expertise and experience to develop innovative capacity building programs that meet the priority needs of Southeast Asian countries in areas such as sustainable development, cybersecurity, and economic development.
