It’s not often that an airline’s first class is not its best offering. But that’s the case with Singapore Airlines First Class and today we find out just how good their Second Best First Class is.
Sitting at the very top of the Singapore Airlines product tree are the First Class Suites on the A380. These are legendary in terms of space and comfort. BUT they are limited to only one aircraft type – the Airbus A380.
So what about the other aircraft? What is that first class like? And can it even be compared to the Suites? It’s these questions I seek to answer as I fly Singapore Airlines 777 First Class from Singapore to Sydney. It’s 7 hours of luxury and indulgence and you’re coming along.
This Singapore Airlines First Class review starts at Singapore Changi Airport in very exclusive Singapore Airlines Lounge where I give you the full tour of the First Class Lounge. Then I step inside the exclusive sanctuary of The Private Room. This is Singapore Airline’s most luxurious lounge and it is exclusive to Singapore Airlines First Class and First Class Suites passengers only. They don’t even allow passengers flying first class on their Star Alliance Partner Airlines like Lufthansa or Swiss to use this Private Room.
Then step onboard the Singapore Airlines 777 for our journey to Sydney, sitting in seat 1A of course!
From the moment you board you enter the luxurious oasis of the first class cabin, 4 seats, 2 staff, 2 bathrooms. This is flying!
