When I finished my Junior recital, I wanted to give myself a challenging goal, which was to memorize my music for my Senior recital. So I practiced over and over to near perfection in not only playing, but also the muscle memory. And once I finally performed my Senior recital, I felt so accomplished of myself. I didnāt think about how many mistakes I made. I didnāt think about if my muscle memory failed me. This was because I embraced imperfection and focused on small improvments every day leading up to achieving bigger goals. Sometimes you have to get into your deepest fears and insecurities to accomplish bigger things.
At the end of the day, nothing can stop you from trying but yourself.
