I honestly did not think I would complete this video. And then I realized that the original music I had picked was not what I wanted for it. Sometimes, the simple solutions help.
Anyhow, this is yet another video for StarkQueen's OCtober prompt list! The theme for this one is grief - and I ended up going to one of my other original stories, "The Mandorian Chronicles".
Story goes like this:
Since leaving his homeland - the Emerald - Ladarion has been the personal guard and best friend of Prince Dero of the Ruby. Their friendship eventually starts to bloom into something more, while they are getting pulled deeper into the war ravaging their continent and join the rebel group called the Alliance. A battle destroys the Alliance's hideout deep in the Emerald Forest. Ladarion is injured, but survives. Dero does not. When Ladarion wakes up he is forced to shoulder leadership of the Alliance while trying to get over the loss of his friend and potential true love, causing him to - in the end - run away from his responsibilities.
