ANOTHER ONE OF THOSE VIDEOS WHERE IT'S IMPORTANT YOU READ THE STORYLINE!
Background: James and Lily are killed by Voldemort and leave the infant Harry Potter behind. Dumbledore plans to leave him with his aunt and uncle but James' friend, Remus Lupin, volunteers to raise the boy instead, despite his werewolf-condition. Dumbledore eventually agrees but places a charm over Remus' home so that no one will know that Harry lives there (so everyone thinks he's staying with his aunt and uncle, who are muggles).
Remus raises Harry as his own son but keeps some things away because they hurt too much to admit, such as who Harry's real parents were and the fact that Remus is a werewolf. At the age of 11 Harry gets into Hogwarts.
Video story: Sirius Black escapes from Azkaban and Harry notices that Remus is worried about the news. He asks why but Remus does not answer. This angers Harry because he's tired of Remus keeping secrets from him and when Remus leaves for work he goes through some of Remus' old things. He then finds evidence that Remus knew his parents which angers him even more and he runs away.
On the train back to Hogwarts Harry and his friends, Ron and Hermione, end up in a compartment where their new DADA-teacher is sleeping. They ignore him during the whole journey, but then the train stops and a dementor enters the compartment. Harry is affected by it and almost has his soul sucked out when the teacher wakes up and drives the dementor away. When Harry wakes up he realizes that the teacher is Remus, but in order to protect Harry Remus pretends that the two have never met. Harry decides to play along with this, mainly because he wants nothing to do with Remus.
Over the year it becomes apparent that Remus took his position as DADA-teacher in order to protect Harry and also to try and explain himself, but Harry does not wish to let him do that. Eventually, though, he realizes that perhaps he was too harsh on Remus, but then it turns out that Remus is a werewolf. The rift between them opens again and when Sirius shows up, revealing himself to be innocent and the true culprit to be Peter Pettigrew, Harry decides to move in with his newfound godfather. When this happens Remus leaves Hogwarts since Harry has now got a new protector.
