Vintage Re-Print Pattern Review:
Simplicity 1609: Jiffy Pattern from 1966.
Advertised as "2 Main Pattern Pieces"

Two vintage patterns I found that are incredibly similar to this one:
Simplicity 6395 (S6395) copyright 1966
Simplicity 6541
Both are JIFFY Patterns.
Would I sew this again? Absolutely Yes!!
Was it an easy sew? I wouldn't say its a beginner pattern, but a confident beginner could handle it. It does feature a zipper, facings, and lots of darts. Minimal pattern pieces and a classic A-Line Shift Dress that flatters many figures. A classic wardrobe staple.
My measurements for reference:
B: 41
W: 35
H: 45
height: 5 ft 3 inches. Weight: 180 pounds
